Neighbourhood: a new series for you to meet our neighbours

August 19, 2024
Neighbourhood

We love our neighbours! And, because a stay at HOTEL10 is never boring, we constantly strive to push the boundaries of what we can do to make your experience with us even more unique.

Recently, we toured the neighborhood to create a new series of videos that we called "Neighbourhood". The objective is to introduce you to local and independent businesses that do things differently, just like HOTEL10! This series will present our neighbors by presenting their particulars, their stories and also, their services, aiming to inspire you during your next stay.

These unique shops are all easily accessible by foot from HOTEL10. We hope you enjoy discovering them through this new series created by artist Guy Hamelin in collaboration with HOTEL10.

  • Café Origine:  0m from HOTEL10

  • This independent coffee shop is located in the historic part of our building and can be accessed directly from HOTEL10. Offering coffees roasted here and elsewhere, we love their vibrant decor, which is as colorful as we are, and their bright premises where you can also work.

  • This snack bar offers vegan variations on all the nostalgic and comforting classics that we know and love (poutine, burgers, mac and cheese, etc.) in a modern and sleek decor.
  • Boutique 1861: 450m from HOTEL10

  • This independent boutique specializes in dresses for all kinds of occasions. With its all-pink decor and three floors of inventory, it’s a haven for women looking for a memorable outfit at various price ranges.

  • Eva D: 350m from HOTEL10

  • This luxury thrift store offers its latest second-hand fashion finds in an eclectric setting. In fact, the store is hard to spot from the street since its storefront is covered in graffiti and looks abandoned, but no, that is all part of the experience!

Very neat hotel in a good location

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

"Reasonable hotel where we felt very comfortable for one night. Valet parking for $35 . Great comfortable bed.The bathroom with huge shower leaves nothing to be desired. Coffee machine and fridge.
In the lobby a decent bar where there is freshly tapped beer at a reasonable price. Also a water station for filling water bottles.
Old Montreal is within walking distance in 20 minutes."

Impeccable Service

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

We had an incredible stay at Hotel 10 in Montreal! From the moment we arrived, the valet service made everything simple and stress-free. Our room was modern and spotless, with a very comfortable king-size bed and a clean, carpet-free space.
The in-room espresso machine was a nice surprise, and we weren’t disappointed! As most of you know, we love staying active, so we headed to the gym first thing in the morning for a great workout. The café also offered a delicious, healthy breakfast buffet that helped us start the day off right.

MERCI

Thanks for another great stay! We truly appreciated the surprise room upgrade and all the attention and service we always get. Your whole staff, from front desk to cleaning ladies to valet is truly amazing, and dedicated and so pleasant.
